Yes you can. You can submit the claim from your policy details. If your policies are not listed, you may click on “Claims” to submit your claim.

You can click on “Refer and Earn”, then key in your friend’s email. An email will automatically be sent to your friend with your referral code. Alternatively, you can provide the referral code (e.g. R123) to your friend. Click here for more details.
Promotion code is the discount code when a campaign is launched. E.g. our TEIF discount code is TEIF.
However, a referral code is to be used when you refer a friend to purchase an Etiqa product. Once the referral code is indicated, we will be able to track your referrals and reward you according to the campaigns indicated.

You can go to TiqConnect and click on “Forgot Password” to set a new password.
eWallet is your personal digital wallet on TiqConnect. Any claims or refund amount would be credited into this account for customers to encash easily via Direct Credit or PayNow into their bank account.
Encashable Credit:
You will receive encashable credit into your eWallet when you perform any claims reimbursements/ policy cancellation etc.
This amount can be used to offset for purchase or renewal of your policies.
Alternatively, you can encash the amount.
Non- Encashable Etiqa$:
You can convert your Etiqa Rewards Points to Etiqa$.
This amount can be used to offset for purchase or renewal of selected policies.
However, you will not be able to encash this amount.
You may login to TiqConnect to set up a Direct Credit Bank Transfer or use PayNow to encash your credits in your eWallet. Please note that you may only do so for the encashable credits stated in your eWallet.
You can login to any of your bank’s online portal and register for one. It can be registered under your mobile or NRIC.
The PayNow participarting banks include – Maybank, DBS Bank/POSB, Citibank, HSBC, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank, Bank of China. You would be able to get detailed instructions on their respective website.
Etiqa$ is non-encashable. It can only be used to purchase new policies or renew your existing policy.
You can use it to purchase a new policy or use it to offset renewal premium for your existing policy.
When you buy or renew a selected Etiqa insurance product, your Etiqa$ will appear as a payment option in the payment page which you can use to offset premium payment.

Yes, we will send out your monthly eWallet statement if there is existing balance in your account.
Before the payment page, our system will check the eWallet balance. If you have a balance, we would display the balance by default to deduct from the account. If you have Etiqa$, the premium will be deducted from Etiqa$ first and then from the encashable amount.
Encashable Credits:
Your Encashable Credits do not expire. These are credits you received from claims reimbursements/ policy cancellation etc.
Non Encashable Credits (Etiqa$):
Your Non- Encashable Etiqa$ has an expiry. You may login to TiqConnect to view the expiry date.
Please come to our Customer Care office and our staff will be able to assist in the encashment. And we can arrange to disable the account as well.
We are moving towards digitalization and ease of reimbursements to the customers. Customers will be automatically registered for TiqConnect upon their online purchase. Our staff can assist in the encashment. And if you do not want the account, a request can be submitted after the withdrawal is done.
For elderly whom requires assistance, they can drop by our office for assistance.
Yes. You may ignore and leave the credits in the eWallet and utilize it later. However, do take note that the notification will be sent automatically to remind you of the balance. Also, there is an expiry date for the non-encashable credits (Etiqa$). Please log in to TiqConnect to check the expiry date.
Etiqa$ (non-encashable) will be credited back to your TiqConnect eWallet.

Making Premium Payments

Q1. What is eGIRO?
eGIRO stands for Electronic GIRO. It is a digital initiative that digitises the GIRO application process with an aim to significantly reduce the GIRO set-up turnaround time. This is a joint initiative by The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), and Participating Banks, with the support of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Q2. How does eGIRO work and how can it benefit me?
You will now be able to apply for eGIRO via our customer portal at https://www.etiqa.com.sg/LoginPortal/#/EnrolGIRO to set up eGIRO in minutes. All you need to do is specify your designated bank for the payment through eGIRO.
Q3. Who are the participating banks in eGIRO?
At launch, 8 participating banks will be taking part in eGIRO: Bank of China, DBS Bank/POSB, The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB. The Association of Banks in Singapore is working to onboard more banks onto eGIRO.
Q4. How can I use eGIRO to pay my insurance premium to Etiqa?
For now, you can use eGIRO to pay only for recurring premiums due on your inforce life insurance policies with us.
Q5. Will eGIRO replace current paper GIRO?
No. eGIRO is currently not replacing paper GIRO.
Q6. Will my paper submissions or existing instructions be migrated to eGIRO?
No. Existing instructions or new setups by paper forms will not be migrated to eGIRO.
Q7. What are the measures in place to safeguard my data during eGIRO set up?
There are stringent security measures in place to safeguard your personal data that passes through eGIRO. Your data is encrypted. Only the bank and billing organisation that you have authorised to receive your data is able to decrypt the data to execute the transactions that you requested. The authentication and authorisation process are underpinned by banks’ 2FA and Transaction Signing.
Q8. How do I check my eGIRO application status?
The approval for eGIRO application is instant. Upon successful enrolment, you will see a confirmation from the bank that your application is successful. For failed enrolment, an error message will be shown online.
Q9. How can I amend an existing eGIRO submitted via online?
Currently, you will not be able to amend existing eGIRO instructions submitted via online. You may however wish to initiate a cancellation before resubmitting a new eGIRO set-up.
Q10. Can I use a joint bank account to set up the eGIRO application?
Yes you can provided that you are also a named joint account holder and you are using this account to pay for a policy whom you are (1) the policyholder or (2) the named payor of the policy.
Q11. Can I use someone’s bank account to set up the eGIRO application?
No, you cannot unless the named account holder is the name payor of the policy.
Q12. How can I terminate my eGIRO Payment arrangement?
You and/or your bank account holder can authorise the termination by completing the “Cancellation / Termination of GIRO Arrangement Form” and email us at customer.service@etiqa.com.sg. Alternatively, the bank account holder can terminate the arrangement directly with the bank.
Q13. When is the premium deduction dates?
Please refer to the table on the premium deduction dates. Should the first attempt to deduct the premiums from your GIRO account fails, we will make one further attempt. However, if both attempts are unsuccessful, the GIRO facility will be discontinued automatically.

Q14. Can I still apply for GIRO if I do not want online?
We encourage you to use set up the eGIRO online as the approval is instant. However, if you still prefer not to do it online, you may download the Interbank GIRO application form via our website. Please send the original copy to us for processing. It will take between 14 to 60 days for the approval.

- Download and complete our Credit Card Authorisation Form (SGD) or Credit Card Authorisation Form (USD)

- Select Etiqa Insurance-Life (Maybank account holder) or Etiqa-Life Insurance (DBS/POSB account holder) as the billing organisation under the bill payment tab
