ETIQA EXTENDS APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR ITS COMPLIMENTARY COVID-19 & DENGUE FEVER INSURANCE COVER
Customers of Etiqa and Maybank Singapore who have yet to enrol can now enjoy more time to do so before 31 March 2020
Singapore, 19 Mar 2020 – Etiqa extended the enrolment deadline for their free COVID-19 and dengue fever insurance policy until 31 March 2020.
Launched and made available for online enrolment since 26 February in light of the developing COVID-19 pandemic and mounting dengue fever cases, the insurer has announced an extension of the enrolment deadline of this policy till the end of the month.
Etiqa is the first insurer in Singapore to provide coverage for both the coronavirus and the mosquito-borne dengue disease. The 30-day free coverage features a lump sum S$3,000 Diagnosis Benefit for either illness, amounting to a total maximum benefit of S$6,000 per customer.
“Together with Maybank, we are standing side by side with our customers to protect their livelihoods and provide relief during this critical period. We trust that the policy will benefit them by cushioning any expenses in the event they are diagnosed with either diseases,” said Sue Chi Kong, CEO, Etiqa Insurance Singapore.
Coverage commences on the date of successful enrolment and will expire automatically in 30 days.
All individual Maybank and Etiqa customers between the ages of 17 to 70 are eligible to apply online at www.etiqa.com.sg/online/application/Covid19Dengue.
